My name is Filip and I'm a passionate Norwegian Product Designer with 20+ years of experience in Design Research, User Experience (UX), Interaction (IxD), Visual (VisD) and recently Haptic Design.
I love helping to improve existing products, as well as creating new innovative interactive experiences. I enjoy solving problems for users, that is why a human-centered design approach is very important to me. As a designer, I focus deeply on research, usability, accessibility and multimodal design to produce efficient, satisfying, and user-friendly experiences. This work subsequently increases sales and customer loyalty.
I have spent the past 15 years designing interactive experiences in the video games industry, this has meant working for some of the top developers in the world. In an addition, I also have 6+ years in software and haptics R&D environment.
I have been fortunate enough to work with some incredibly talented multidisciplinary teams, collaborating and helping to design more than 20 products, representing millions of users around the world. I love being part of a passionate team, being able to learn from each other, infuse design thinking and grow together. I believe this kind of culture results in better products.
Currently, I am settled in the awesome City of Montréal, Canada, where I work as an Interaction Design Architect for Immersion Corporation, a leading innovator of haptics technology, focusing on automotive, mobile and gaming market. Recently I was a guest on the Haptic Club podcast and you can hear me here .
My other interests include art, movies, music, soccer, Formula 1 and travel.
